The History of Bloomery Patisserie
Many people experienced losses during the COVID-19 pandemic, but some saw the pandemic as an opportunity to start an F&B business for the younger generation.
Take Amelinda Inggriani, for example, who managed to start a business during the pandemic with her sibling. Amelinda shares that she still can't believe how much her business has grown to this day.
She recalls that the business started because she wanted to buy her family's favorite mille crepes in Semarang, but due to the pandemic restrictions, she decided to make the mille crepes herself.

Starting from that experiment, she felt her mille crepes were good enough to sell, and with support from those around her, she now has branches in various areas like Semarang, Yogyakarta, Solo, and Jakarta.
Amelinda’s Trick to Retain Customers with ESB Loop System

As the owner, Amelinda realized that one way to retain customers is by providing excellent service. But good service alone isn't enough; implementing a loyalty program is crucial to keep increasing business revenue.
"Bloomery always makes customers feel special, from the moment they enter the store to when they see the desserts, and with after-sales where they can earn points as our gold members and exchange them for various Bloomery merchandise," Amelinda explained to the ESB team.
Amelinda admits that to enhance customer loyalty, they needed a technology system to manage the Gold Member program, which they found in ESB Loop, directly integrated with ESB POS.
"ESB Loop tracks the points from every sale. It's really helpful because it's integrated with every purchase. We just need to enter the customers' phone numbers, and it automatically tracks each sale from all stores. So it's easier for us as owners," Amelinda said.
Besides simplifying customer data entry for owners, Amelinda noted the positive impacts of ESB Loop. "Our staff doesn't need to explain as much. Previously, we had to explain a lot about what the Gold Member is and how to redeem points, but with ESB, they just need to scan."
